Laxmibai asks Gangadhar not to announce about her pregnancy to the people of Jhansi till she completes three months. Dalhousie gets very upset when he hears the news of Laxmibai's pregnancy. He directs Nelson that Jhansi should never get an heir even if it means that Laxmibai should die. Hirabai tells Laxmibai that they should visit the temple of the Goddess.
