In May 1940, a teenager joins the RAF and becomes the youngest Spitfire pilot ever after intense training. Life in the squadron mixes camaraderie, stress, and brief comforts on the ground with constant danger in the air, as the losses take a heavy psychological toll over an 18-month tour.
